Declination of Coverage

This refers to the insurance company declining all or part of the policy coverage.  This will typically happen if after research in medical history and or statements provided from the applicant to the insurance company, the company feels that you do not meet the criteria as an insurable party.  Most states will allow the insurance company to decline all or part coverage on an individual plan.  Please be sure to check your state’s laws for details.  If you have been declined coverage, most stated offer a state regulated high risk insurance plan.
